Mrigakunja is in the flood-prone region of The Terai. Victims from flooding are compensated NRs. 3,500 per household. Relief has been given to 85 homes in Bachhauli V.D.C. and 12 in Ratnanagar Municipality. A total of 97 homes have been provided with aid due to flood damage by CNP which totals a sum of NRs. 339,500.
