The one horned rhino is one of the rarest animals in the world, and so we take a special duty to conserve them. The committee has initiated regular patrols around the area of the Bufferzone and Community Forests other organizations have helped co-ordinate the programme including Chitwan National Park (CNP), Sauraha village, the Community Forests and The Hotel Association. Mrigakunja User Committee also manages an attendant for the preservation of the one-horned rhino, which has helped decrease poaching.
