Community Souvenir shop Management Sub-committee

Our country which comes in 91st position for global tourism is known as one of the richest countries in the world for its bio-diversity. Internationally renowned for Mt. Everest, the birth-place of Lord Buddha and the one-horned Rhino have given the international recognition in the world. It is understood that this rare animal One-Horned Rhino is found in Chitwan district which has name and established CNP. The world tourist community come to Nepal to enjoy with nature and its creatures like rare animal Rhino and Bengal Tigers. The development of Sauraha as a tourism area, which is in the buffer zone area of Bachhauli VDC of CNP was taken under consideration and with the motif of gifting as a token of Chitwan and whole country to the tourists; the thought of establishing one Souvenir Shop within Sauraha area started gearing up. Along with time, this MUC started providing economic and technical service from this souvenir shop as a sub-committee of MUC by including in the annual program after the registration of the law. Now days, there are two employees marking as a sales assistant.
The main purpose of establishing the Souvenir Shop were to introduce out country in the world, selling the local products to the internal and external tourists to find out the ways of income, to develop the advance mentality in females, develop the income level and to make the independent.

Youth Awareness Initiative (YAI) Sub-committee in Anta Poaching.
CNP has started the circulation of youngsters in conservation works after the gradual disappearance of the wild animal like Wild Elephant, one-horned Rhino, Bengal Tiger and different birds. This sub-committee was formed for the preservation of wild animals, heritages riches in a more effective way by Nepal Government by implementing the Buffer zone are and also for the conservation of bio-diversity and wild animals from hunting and poaching.
This sub-committee has been working for the support of conservation as a “Youth Awareness Initiative Sub-Committee in Anti-Poaching” under the Mrigakunja Buffer zone User Committee of CNP to conserve rare animals, to introduce Nepal in the world and to preserve bio-diversity after the dawn of 060-11-28.
This Sub-committee has many social destinations and purposes of maintaining the mutual relation in the people around CNP, taking initiative to arrange the proper compensation with concerned User Committee for the direct loss caused by wild animals and also including all those local people and target group in the preservation work by teaching them about the importance the natural resources and animals. It has spread the consciousness about the conservation and pride of Chitwan though audio visual programs, legal conferences and pamphlets distribution in Dev Ghat mela (fares) and “Chitwan Festival”. Six youngsters have successfully completed cycle rally from Sauraha to  Holy place Lumbini by taking different slogans for conservation of bio-diversity such as “Conservation has to come from heart, participation has to come from all part.”
Committee members have gone to different community forests for patrolling on elephant ride and they have also completed the door-to-door agro vet program to control the use of poisons in killing of wild animals and creature.
This Sub-committee has already gone through many conservational programs and it is mentioned in its future plan keep on the same but more effective programmes.
(Teej) singing competition in “Haritaalika”(great festival of women) and (Jhamta) singing competition in Jitiya (great festival of Tharu females) have already been organized and put in the list of future plan of this Sub-committee.
This Committee is moving ahead with the assimilation of the slogan “Wild Animal is a National Treasure, Palpitation of Nepali and Curiosity of external Tourists;”
